Carrie Cullen Hitt recently joined Equinor as the Co-Lead of Transmission Strategy for U.S. Offshore Wind. Prior to joining Equinor she served as Executive Director for the National Offshore Wind R&D Consortium, a non-profit focused on finding innovative solutions to help the U.S. reach its 30 GW by 2030 offshore wind deployment goal.  

Carrie also previously served as President of New Hampshire Transmission and as a Senior Project Director at NextEra Energy. Prior to joining NEER, Carrie worked as a leading advocate for the solar industry in leadership positions at the Solar Alliance and Solar Energy Industries Association. In the early 2000, she was involved in electricity market restructuring and advocacy in both the public and private sectors, including the Harvard Electricity Policy Group and Constellation. She is a graduate of Clark University (BA) and Johns Hopkins (MA, SAIS). She is an Artemis Circle Board Member of the Boston Boys and Girls Club.
